Studebaker Sceptre. It was a Brooks Stevens-designed concept car that, naturally, had any future development into a production car cut short by Studebaker’s decision to halt automobile manufacturing .

Like that, but less terrifyingly repulsive ostentatious “styling”. More like normal things being turned into non-functional art, rather than gross, non-functional add-ons made of plastic trying to resemble an angry robot.
